Savant Technology Wins 2008 Volunteer Service Award!
It is with great pride and sense of accomplishment that Savant Technology is accepting the 2008 "Technology Connector" Volunteer Service Award from The Arts & Business Council of Greater Philadelphia. This honor, present by Comcast Corporation at an awards ceremony at the Philadelphia Convention Center on May 9th, 2008, is awarded to the company that excelled in being a catalyst for technology change within the arts community in Philadelphia. Since 2005, Savant has been involved with the Council, tending to the needs of various arts organizations in the Philadelphia region. During that time, we have had the privilege of working with tremendous forces in the arts community in Philadelphia and surrounding area.  Savant has collaborated with Philadanco, the internationally famous contemporary dance company, Cheltenham Arts Center, The Philadelphia Singers, The Philadelphia Sketch Society, The Village of Arts and Humanities, The Philly Live Arts Festival as well as other major figures in the Philly arts scene.  Each organization has received free or reduced-rate technology services from our company.

Positive experiences were had on both sides of these engagements.  Providing services that benefitted not only the core organizations but the public they serve was immensely satisfying. Meeting dynamic people and organizations and taking part in their forward momentum and seeing organization sprout their "wings" and begin to utilize technology as a component to organize, grow and enhance their offerings was the true icing on the cake for us. 

There is a need for new volunteers for to work with The Arts and Business Council. The Council helps drive the cultural vitality and economic development of the Greater Philadelphia Region by strengthening the partnership between business and the arts and cultural community. Business professionals, lawyers and technology professionals are needed. Join us!
